The context:
I’ve been a regular at The Login Lounge for over a year, using the amazing co-working space as a break from the new norm of home working. Without trying, I’ve created a new local business network and it’s really great value [especially as I drink my own bodyweight in complementary Nespresso on every visit – sorry guys!]

I especially like the variety of workspaces in Login, both upstairs and down. Sometimes I’ll hide away for extra focus or a call, another time I’ll work in the open with my new co-workers – whatever works on the day. The one constant is the quality of the working space and the friendly environment [and did I mention the Nespresso?].
The problem:
So, in a casual ‘water-cooler’ conversation with owner Steve Coburn, it transpired that his intent was to reposition Login towards a primary focus on live entertainment and particularly live bands – Steve’s [and my] passion in life. But his challenge was for the lovely people of Camberley to discover that Login was more than just a fairly regular-looking retail unit on Park Street, and that there was in fact a knock-out venue upstairs, capable of hosting a couple of hundred music lovers, whilst feeding them with craft beer, fine wines and a bunch of gins.
And so, our Living Vista Experience™ project with Login took shape – with the objective of helping Steve and Login achieve their ambition of ‘hosting the community’.
The solution:

We worked closely with Marketing Manager Suz and Steve himself in planning just how we would bring the essence of Login to an online Living Vista Experience™. In common with other projects, it’s not really about the space itself [well, it is a little in this case, because it’s visually stunning and occasionally bonkers – there’s a meeting room with a Tornado wing for a table]. No, it’s about the people and their stories.

So, when it came to the shoot days – spread over a long [‘tiring but a lot of fun’] weekend – we filmed Steve telling us his ‘why’ about Login, his passion for music, his lovely wine menu, his unique coffee cups from South Africa…

We heard from Suz talking ‘Gin o’clock’ and from Tom, flown in from local Camberley craft brewery Disruption Is, sharing his favourite ‘Chaos More Chaos’ fruity IPA. We heard from Hazel talking gigabits and from expert barista Robyn about the cracking coffee from a local roastery.

We even heard from 2 slightly mad, regular customers Paul and Harry, who seemingly come to Login because they prefer it to their home – something about frothier coffee, comfier chairs and friendlier people?

And Richard, stood in his favourite Library snug, sharing all about his 8:59 last-Friday-of-the-month networking meeting at Login [7am to 9am]. I’m a regular and warmly endorse it, but exercise extreme caution if you have the wonderful fully-loaded breakfast bap.

All of these Real Presenters telling their stories, plus a stack of multi-media content have brought this already vibrant space ALIVE!
My Favourite Bits:

The Cavern meeting room – all of the Beatles’ number 1 UK singles are displayed on the wall and they inspired us to create an on-demand video jukebox. The result: as much as I love to sit in the actual meeting room in Login, now I prefer the online version, clicking from ‘A Hard Day’s Night’ to ‘Hey Jude’. We think it’s a great example of maximising the potential of the environment, and it was the fruit of collaborative brainstorming ideas with the Login team.

A nice little bit of functionality next: we used the large physical A-Boards at front of house that advertise the up-coming events, to create Virtual Billboards that Login can continually update themselves, to keep things fresh. And the team can do the same with the front of house menus. One of the key benefits of a Living Vista Experience™ is the ability we give to our customers to update media assets instantaneously, compared to a more traditional virtual tour or video where the content is ‘baked in’.

And last but not least on my favourites, the Login Treasure Hunt. Injecting a bit of fun, but with a business purpose – visitors are invited to find ‘orange stuff’, collect 5 and win a free cup of coffee from the Coffee Shop. It’s designed to encourage exploration and a longer dwell time, with a little reward at the end. Devilishly tricky, I haven’t yet, myself, managed to find all 5 in the allowed 5 minutes… Other business applications will use this ‘Asset Hunt’ for more serious purposes, like finding Health & Safety risks in a working environment, so whilst this is focused on fun, it’s a really important added-value feature.
In Login’s own words…
“Having the virtual tour as part of our website has been a game-changer.
It allows potential customers to explore Login Lounge in a fun and interactive way, and it’s helped people understand who we are and what we do, by showcasing the people and the story behind the brand.
Andrew and David’s professionalism and attention to detail was outstanding, which allowed them to really capture the essence of our space and bring it to life in a way that we haven’t seen done before. They put us at ease on the day of filming (which was actually really fun!) and the support they offered pre- and post-shoot was second-to-none. They immersed themselves in our brand and genuinely cared – and it shows!
The end result is something we’re incredibly proud of.“
Wow! We are really proud of that feedback. We absolutely loved this project and it gave us real confidence in our methods and our Living Vista Experience™ product. If you’d like to explore the Login Lounge Living Vista Experience™, click HERE
Looking forward to the next exciting projects in the pipeline in Q1 2024 😊
