LVX Features

Blended with the vibrant ultra high resolution 360° HDR imagery that forms the canvas of the Living Vista Experience™, many different types of interactivity brings the virtual tour to life. From Presenters to advanced AI features, explore the panels below to find out more and to see them in action.

Presenters

From embedded real presenters to AI Agents, the Presenter features are what really brings a Living Vista Experience™ to life. Tap the panels below for more information.

Real Presenters

The ability to place presenters into the real environment to provide interaction is perhaps the most exciting way to bring the Living Vista Experience™ to life. Presenters can appear in multiple locations and if required, the delivered content can vary depending on visitor interaction choices. This creates a more personalised and engaging experience.
AI technology enables the original presenter dialogue to be updated in the future without re-shooting being necessary.

Virtual Presenters

Using green screen techniques, it's possible to place presenters into the Vistas without them having to be present at the time of the original filming. This can be particularly useful if it is desirable to be able to add presenter content without it being necessary to re-shoot in the original location. The key difference is that virtual presenters cannot interact with items in the real environment in the way that live Vista presenters are able to.
It's also possible to add presenters using our 'AI Presenter' feature without it being necessary to film new content against a greenscreen.

Programmable AI Presenters

Previously, the only way to add new presenters into a Living Vista was to film the presenter against a green screen.

Now there's another option.

With the magic of LVX AI, it's now possible to create a realistic AI Avatar of a presenter that can be programmed to speak dialogue determined either from a text file or from an audio recording.

Multi-language Presenters

Leveraging AI technology, presenters can now appear fluent in many languages automatically detected & set from visitor web browser settings. The same AI technology also enables the original presenter dialogue to be updated in the future without re-shooting being necessary.

TTS Presenter & AI Expert Agent

The AI Expert Agent feature is where we create a custom avatar that optionally can look and sound like you. AI Agents are similar to AI Presenters but the key difference between them is that AI Agents operate in real time & can be trained with custom expert knowledge. This means that visitors to your Living Vista Experience can ask questions about your products & services & get expert answers based on a knowledge base specific to your business.
This demonstration is introduced by a TTS AI Presenter with an option to switch to Abbi, our very own in360 AI Expert Agent.

Accessibility

The LVX accessibility feature offers the facility to have switchable subtitles in multiple languages for Presenters and also the option to have text-to-speech functionality so that when the visitor's mouse cursor hovers over an InfoSpot, the item will be identified and if clicked, the relevant InfoPanel will be spoken.

Elements

Elements refer to items in the Living Vista Experience™ that can be brought to life to show their dynamic characteristics, such as a crackling log fire, a waterfall or they can be entirely new items that weren’t originally present such as 2D or 3D models.

Dynamic objects

Dynamic objects aren't just limited to small scale items inside a property. A Living Vista Experience™ can equally effectively be applied to large scale outdoor features, such as the waterfall in this example.

Dynamic Vistas

Dynamic Vistas are a means to show how a scene changes over a period of time, perhaps between different lighting conditions or how a space configuration is changed. For example, the Vista could show the change in natural or artificial lighting conditions. It might also be used to make comparisons by gently blending between different Vistas.

Virtual Staging & 3D Models

Photo-realistic 3D models can be incorporated within real Vistas, perhaps to add items of furniture that weren't present at the time of shooting. Alternatively, entire 3D photo-realistic virtual environments can be built and populated with Real Presenters, perhaps to create a virtual exhibition stand or to visualise a complex new-build construction project.

Animated virtual objects

Similarly to being able to add Virtual Presenters, it's also possible to add just about any other kind of object into the Living Vista Experience that wasn't present at the time of shooting. It can be anything from a real animal to a CGI animation.

Information

Information in many different forms can be embedded within the Living Vista Experience to provide a media-rich experience and to make information easy to retrieve. For example, file types include photos, videos, pdf’s, web pages, 3D models etc.

Virtual displays

Virtual displays can be created within the Living Vista Experience to mimic watching a television screen. The screen can be used to display presentations, videos, YouTube channels etc.
The LVX can be designed to allow the visitor to select multiple different sources, either with a virtual remote control, or in other imaginative ways. In the demonstration shown here, we made the entire wall behave as a giant video jukebox, allowing the selection of any of the Beetles No.1 singles to play on the TV when clicked.
Have a play!...warning - you might get distracted 😉

InfoSpots

Any object within the Vista can be designated as an interactive Infospot / Hotspot. There are many different styles and formats that can be chosen that respond to different stimuli, such as a mouse-over hover event, mouse click or touch etc. A hotspot can trigger a wide variety of actions, including displaying information pages, playing audio and video media files, opening YouTube or other web-sourced content, etc.

'Live content' InfoSpots also permit the updating of images and other content instantaneously via our Client Portal, enabling our clients to change certain content without having to involve in360.

Floorplans

For a more complex Living Vista Experience™ involving multiple rooms, it's often useful to be able to visualise the building layout from a floor plan. The floor plan can also be used as a quick method to jump between rooms. The viewers position in the room also includes a 'radar' display, indicating the direction they are facing.

Live content

'Live content' InfoSpots permit the updating of images and other content instantaneously via our Client Portal, enabling our clients to change certain content without having to involve in360.
This is ideal for content that requires frequent updating, such as Event Posters, Menus and Price Lists etc.

Collaboration, training & learning

These features allow teams to collaborate, fun training & assessment exercises to be built and even immersive group video conferencing to take place, all without leaving the Living Vista Experience.

Immersive video conferencing

LVXmeeting is our embedded videoconferencing feature, enabling a live LVX guided tour! Now it is possible to give your virtual visitors a remote live guided tour of your Living Vista Experience™ from wherever you are. You can decide whether to let the remote guest navigate, or you can take control and guide them through the experience. This can either be a multi participant group tour or a one on one experience.

Collaborative notes

With LVXnotes, visitors can add their own notes and comments to a published Living Vista Experience. Discussion threads can be built and anyone with the same permissions can collaborate to resolve issues, respond etc.
LVXnotes can be categorised to control and restrict access. For example, a user with the "heating' tag will only be able to view and collaborate with other users who are assigned the same label.
Users can be automatically notified via email whenever updates to their assigned categories are made.
LVXnotes can be enriched by adding photos, videos, audio, documents, weblinks etc.

Quizzes & Assessment

The Living Vista Experience™ can also include embedded training and assessment exercises.
Quiz Cards can display multiple choice question sets relating to information that first must be discovered within the Vista.
Quizzes can contain a rich combination of media, including videos, photos, 3D models, etc. SCORM compliant, the Living Vista Experience™ directly connects to Learning Management Systems, enabling the exchange of information such as completion of a lesson, student name and test scores. This demonstration includes the option of an AI avatar providing feedback when an incorrect answer has been given.

Treasure Hunts & Gamification

Treaure hunts are a great way to encourage visitors to spend more time exploring your Living Vista Experience. Perhaps the offer or a discount or other benefit is the element of enticement. In the process, the treasure hunt can be designed to ensure your potential customers find out lots about you and why they should choose you over your competitors.
Almost any kind of game play is possible. It's really down to your imagination!

User Experience

We begin by building a beautiful canvas with our ultra high resolution imagery, but this is just the beginning. The Living Vista Experience must provide a fabulous user experience to ensure visitor engagement & high dwell times. We pay great attention to detail in designing independent, optimised interface skins for both small screen mobile devices and larger desktop displays ensuring the display size never compromises performance and the user experience. Other features within the Vistas themselves support these ‘UX’ goals, such as directional sound fields that relate to the direction of view.

There’s work going on in the background too, analysing how visitors use the LVX  in great detail and making this rich information available via Google Analytics, allowing further optimisations to be made.

Branded mobile & desktop skins

A good user experience begins with the design of the overlay control interface, or 'skin' as we refer to it. Having an optimised experience using either a small mobile display device or a large desktop monitor, mandates having independent skins that are designed and optimised for each display type.
The Living Vista Experience detects the display size and orientation and switches automatically to the skin that is optimised for that particular viewing format.

Directional sound

For a more immersive and realistic experience, the sound from LVX elements such as the log fire and speakers in this example, can optionally track the viewers point of view. When turning towards the sound, the volume will increase. Turning to look in another direction will reduce the volume or eliminate the sound completely, depending on the desired effect.

Immersive VR Headset application

For an even more immersive experience, a VR version of the Living Vista Experience can be specifically created to be uploaded onto headsets such as the Meta Quest 3. A free viewer application is available to download from the Meta Quest Store. Please note that there are some features, including the Skin / Menu items and Quizzes & Assessments, that are not currently available in a VR version. These features are in the development pipeline.

Google Analytics

After investing in the production of your Living Vista Experience™ it is important to know how well it’s performing, what paths and flows your audience follows, which InfoSpots are clicked more often, the most viewed Vistas etc.
This feature tracks the detailed behaviour of your visitors whilst they are exploring the Living Vista Experience™. Reports can be generated that analyse user interaction with the skin interface elements, InfoSpots and media.

Google Streetview

360° panoramas created for a Living Vista Experience can also be accessed directly via Google Street View and be added to your Google 'My Business' page, enhancing SEO ranking. We're also a Google certified ‘Trusted Pro’ which means that you can be confident of receiving the highest quality 360° photography.

Online / Offline

A Living Vista Experience™ isn’t just for delivery over the internet. They also make fantastic interactive experiences on trade show exhibition stands, in showrooms, museums, classrooms, training suites, etc. They are ideally suited for use with large format interactive touch displays and in360 can provide expert advice and support for these kinds of applications.
We can provide self contained desktop applications to run on Windows or Macintosh platforms and because the normal constraints of over the internet delivery don’t apply, these applications can take advantage of the truly breathtaking full ultra high resolution gigabit images in360 captures to produce a Living Vista Experience™.
